    Painted Ladies & Sweets Food Walk

    Willy Wonka lived his best life - am I right?! Skip the salad and go straight for dessert. While on this food walk, sample flavors from ice cream shops and compare San Francisco chocolates. So go ahead, after the week you've had, you deserve this.

    Begin in a cafe and try what locals call 'fancy toast.' Next head to a neighborhood market to look at the unique artisan treats, learn about artisan chocolate and grab a few samples for a taste comparison. Venture up our only hill (it's not too bad - we promise) to see the historical Painted Ladies in Alamo Square. A perfect photo opportunity, these Victorian homes have the best views of the city. First one to sing the Full House theme song gets a prize!

    Next, we'll head down the hill to Hayes Valley. We'll pass adorable boutique shops as we head to an ice cream store said to try the most unique flavors in the city. Without spoiling the experience, we'll just say the last stops include a French treat. This tour ends in the heart of the city, with easy access to public transportation.

    Chinatown Dim Sum & Tea Food Walk

    We will start our adventure on the outskirts of Chinatown. Our first taste is at a tightly packed local favorite. Ready to take on the walk, we’ll journey down the street of the infamous 10-cent haircut and learn how the sailors journeyed here in hopes of the American dream. Then, we’ll check out the fortune cookie factory and take a peek inside! Next, we’ll try four types of hot tea in a local tea shop and learn about the role of tea in traditional Chinese medicine.

    Then we’ll check out the oldest bakery in Chinatown, a church filled with pictures of the 1906 earthquake, and try bubble tea, a flavored iced tea drink with tapioca balls. Feeling refreshed, we head to eat more food! This time we’ll try a pork roll, unique to the neighborhood. We will end at Portsmouth Square with stories of the Gold Rush, in the exact spot it all started!

    North Beach Pizza & Bar Crawl

    California-style! clam pizza! Who knew pizza could be so diverse? Pair pizza with beer, and we’re talking a match made in heaven. Eat and drink your heart out. We’ll teach you the history of pizza and how it came to the North Beach district while showing you famous landmarks and tasting a few local brews.

    Start the evening at a stop with true old school Italian flair and talk about the Italian immigrant journey to the West Coast and the role of North Beach. Check out rare finds at a privately owned publishing house and learn about the Beat Generation that came through North Beach during the Summer of Love.

    Next, head to a local watering hole, known for its odd artifacts scattered across the bar, for a local craft beer. Afterward, we’ll go to a one-of-a-kind pizzeria with Sicilian-style (clam?!) pizza. As we stroll around North Beach, we’ll take a peek at the church where Marilyn Monroe took her wedding photos, check out the first strip club in America and see a graffiti piece by the famous street artist, Banksy. After, we’ll stop for an award-winning slice in the heart of the neighborhood.

    We’ll end outside of the oldest bar in San Francisco for those who are thirsty for more.

    Castro Cocktails & Aphrodisiacs Food Walk

    Release your inner wild child. It’s been a long week, and if you’re going to do it anywhere, Castro’s the place. Explore the options that make Castro arguably the heart of the city. Learn about aphrodisiacs, the neighborhood, and San Francisco cocktails. Let go of your worries for a night, you can always be responsible tomorrow.

    Start with a classic aphrodisiac to set the mood, the oyster shooter. Slurp! We’ll learn the story of the Castro District and how it set the stage for the gay rights movement. Come as you are, it’s whimsical and welcoming to all. Stroll down Castro Street and see the rainbow-flags, stopping at Castro Theater to learn about the actors who performed there. Try an unusual cookie and indulge your erogenous side as we peek in a store and discuss the Castro underground party scene.

    The next stop is a double whammy! We’ll sample an aphrodisiac everyone knows and loves, along with a classic cocktail we’ll bet you didn’t know was invented in SF! We’ll get a spicy little treat, then say “bye bye’ with some Mai Tais. By this time, the Castro is just getting fired up.
