In 1884, Winchester rifle heiress Sarah L. Winchester began a construction project of such magnitude that it was to occupy hers, and the lives carpenters, and craftsmen until her death 38-years later. Mrs. Winchester built this 160-room Victorian-Era mansion on the advise of a Boston Medium believing continued construction would appease all those lost souls killed by the "Gun that Won the West". Today, the mansion is open to the general public 364-days a year (closed Christmas Day) to enjoy, and experience the fascinating story of the Winchester Mystery House.

Guest admission includes a 65-minute guided tour of the sprawling interior of the mansion as they visit all four floors, and 110-rooms of this historic home. Guests are immersed in the myth, lore, and legend of the Winchester Mystery House. You must see it to believe it.
